Challenge Coin Shelves
We at Piedmont Woodshop are excited to announce the rollout of a totally new, novel, and modular system of shelves and boards for challenge coin collections and other memorabilia.
No two challenge collections are the same, and no single coin shelf exists that can grow with your collection, until now.
Made in the USA out of solid sapele mahogany and using a game-changing joinery system, our shelves and boards can be assembled in an endless number of configurations by you, using a simple 4mm Allen wrench. Add on more shelves and boards as your collection expands, and create a totally unique and customized display for your challenge coins and memorabilia.
The example presented in the image to the left contains one of each of the four components of the system- the Starter Coin Shelf, the Add-On shelf, the Extension Board, and the Display Shelf.

Shelving system components -
Starter Coin Shelf -
The Starter Coin Shelf consists of the standard 18" wide backer with a 2" deep coin shelf, plus the top and bottom caps, Clamex connectors, and a 4mm Allen wrench. The backboard contains two keyholes at exactly 16 1/16" on-center, allowing the shelf to be mounted on standard wall studs.
The shelf and caps are all made from solid sapele mahogany with full-length sliding dovetail joints.

Add-On Coin Shelf -
The Add-On Coin Shelf is the same 18" wide backer and 2" deep shelf as the starter shelf but does not include the caps. It will include the Clamex connectors, a 4mm Allen wrench, and assembly instructions. The backboard contains two keyholes at exactly 16 1/16" on-center, allowing the shelf to be mounted on standard wall studs.
The shelf is made from solid sapele mahogany with full-length sliding dovetail joints.

Display Shelf -
The Display Shelf contains the 18" wide backer with a 5" deep shelf, Clamex connectors, 4mm Allen wrench, and instructions for assembly. The backboard contains two keyholes at exactly 16 1/16" on-center, allowing the shelf to be mounted on standard wall studs.
The shelf is made from solid sapele mahogany with full-length sliding dovetail joints.

Extension Board -
The Extension Board is an 18" wide, 8" tall single board, and comes with the Clamex connectors, 4mm Allen wrench, and instructions for assembly. The backboard contains two keyholes at exactly 16 1/16" on-center, allowing the board to be mounted on standard wall studs.
The board is made from solid sapele mahogany, and for an extra fee, any standard 6" logo can be carved onto the center of the board (for example, see the Flag logo in the images above).
